Things that make me say, “I love it, I love it, I love it!”
Cowboy boots & hats-cowgirls rock! My little bunny that passes by my office window, plants of all types-they represent life to me, mail-I love getting it, dancing in my living room, making my own music videos, bryan’s laugh-when he is laughing really hard, ice cream, any food that is Italian-yum! Books-I am currently reading five! Helping others experience freedom, shoes, My dad when he hugs me, my mom’s understanding, scripture, talking to strangers, my friends, my beautiful sisters, and of course….meatloaf.

So…my husband and I got up early this morning and went for a run through some trails close to where we live. It was beautiful! After we ran for a little while we sat on some rocks looking over the water with the sun shining in our faces. I took a deep breath and felt overwhelmed by God goodness. I thought to myself…now this is what God was talking about when he said he came to give us abundant life! Together we ushered in the day absorbing God’s awesome creation. What a beautiful morning and what a great run…thanks to my husband who is hard to keep up with!

There is nothing like sharing icecream with a friend but what is even better is when you can share your insecurities. God knows that I have a lot of them! I truly believe that God loves us in many ways but one way is through our friends and just people in general. I am thankful for the times when I can let my guard down and just tell it like it really is. Ya know what I mean? I believe that God can speak through our friends directly to us and it can be life changing. A listening ear, followed by a simple word of truth can be refreshing after a long day of chaos. I am grateful for the love I was shown tonight by God through my friend. I hope I can offer the same.

During the week at night I spend some of my time in the car driving from the store or heading back from seeing a friend and I often come across some interesting messages on the radio. Some I just pass up and others I find worth listening to. Tonight I heard a guy encourage his audience that they should live like they have nothing to prove. I thought that was interesting. He went on to say that we don’t need to prove to others how much we are worth nor do we need to prove our worth to God. That if you would take away our jobs, degrees & houses we would still have value because God created us with a purpose. I really felt encouraged by that. I didn’t get to finish the whole sermon but I think I got a lot out of what he said. I think I need to start living this way because I often try to “prove” my worth to myself so much that when I can’t seem to find anything good I end up feeling like a nobody. I just want to encourage people who read this and to let them know that you are valuable to God.

I was just thinking today about how much I love my friends. They are so good to me. I have the greatest friends in the world!!! I just wanted you all to know that. I want to encourage everyone to love on their friends and tell them how you feel about them…..don’t wait!!!
